ICDS organises Anemia Testing Camp

REASI  :  Department of ICDs Reasi today organized Anemia testing camp in convergence with the Health Department here at Guru Ravi Dass Temple Mari.

The camp was organized by the Programme Officer ICDS Reasi Renu Kumari, CDPO Reasi Pallvi Sharma and Assistant Controller Food Safety Reasi Madan Magotra.

Deputy Director ICDS Jammu Tina Mahajan was the special guest on the occasion.

Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Seela Ravi Kumar; Sarpanch Panchayat halqa Gran Badotrian Raj Kumar; Sarpanch Panchayat halqa Mari-B Kiran Bala; Sarpanch Panchayat halqa Garan Asha Rani; Sarpanch Panchayat halqa Purana Droor Rekha Devi; Municipal Ward Member Om Prakash were also present at the event.

During the programme Anaemia testing of general public was done and was addressed by the doctors of Health Department. The District Health Officer Dr. S.D. Atri delivered a lecture on prevention of Anemia.

Supervisors of the ICDS Department also generated awareness among the public regarding the schemes of the ICDS Department.

Further, Albendazole, Folic acid tablets and Iron syrup was provided to the patients affected by Anemia.
