ICDS Udhampur launches Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2021

UDHAMPUR : An impressive function was today organized by ICDS Project, Udhampur to mark the start of Rashtriya Poshan Maah – 2021 under Poshan Abhiyaan Scheme and Matru Vandana Saptah under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY).

District Programme Officer ICDS Projects, Udhampur Attar Chand presided over the function and highlighted the importance of the PMMVY and Rashtriya Poshan Maah – 2021.

Yash Paul Sharma, CDPO, Udhampur urged the field functionaries viz AWWs, Supervisors, HNMs to intensify the awareness of all the Schemes viz ICDS, PMMVY and Poshan Abhiyaayn among the Rural and Urban areas in near future for creating awareness among the common masses. He impressed upon all field functionaries to work with full dedication so that eligible persons could be covered under the ICDS schemes.

Later, Poshan Rally was flagged off by DPO and CDPO Udhampur. In the rally, hundreds of AWWs, Supervisors and staff of ICDS participated and raised various slogans to eradicate the menace of malnutrition. The rally started from DPO Office, Udhampur and passed through CEO office, Main Bazar, Chabutra Bazar, Sailan Talab and finally culminated at Saliab Talab Chowk, Udhampur.
