ICICI Bank donates 16 Oxygen concentrators to Jammu Administration

JAMMU : ICICI Bank today handed over 16 oxygen concentrators to the District Administration Jammu to contribute its bit in combating the possible third wave of Covid-19.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Satish Sharma; District Social Welfare Officer Ajay Salan; Assistant Director, FCS&CA Vipin Bhagat, Representatives of ICICI Bank and other senior officers were present on the occasion.

Out of 16 donated oxygen concentrators, three each will be given to 5 hospitals including Chest Disease Hospital Bakhshi Nagar, CHC Akhnoor, CHC R.S Pura, CHC Bishnah and CHC Sohanjana and one to District Administration Jammu.

On behalf of District Administration, Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg appreciated the ICICI Bank for its humanitarian endeavors. He said that the equipment will strengthen the supply chain of oxygen for the benefit of coronavirus patients.

Anshul Garg said that it is our collective responsibility to strengthen preparedness and supplement the government efforts.
