Ignite ’2024 concludes
ALIGARH : The annual corporate meet, IGNITE ’2024, organized by the Training and Placement Office (General) that provided a university-industry interface to the students of the Aligarh Muslim University, concluded here with valediction and analysis of the achievements made over the week.
The chief guest, Prof. Rafiuddin, Dean Students’ Welfare, shared insights on career planning and educational opportunities abroad, and urged them to make the best use of the university resources for their benefit.
The guest of honour, Prof. Asad U. Khan, Director, IQAC, emphasized the importance of personality development and urged the students to prepare well before going for a job interview or examination, while especially focusing on developing their communication skill.
A special guest, Prof. Mohd Shameem, Chairman, Department of TB and Respiratory Diseases congratulated the TPO on successfully organizing the event and exhorted the students to give back to their alma mater once they have established themselves in their career.
Other special guests, Dr. Shamim Akhtar, Director, Centre of Continuing and Adult Education and Extension and Provost, SS Hall (North) and Prof Farooq Ahmad Dar, Provost, SS Hall (South) highlighted the importance of improving communication skills and participating in events like IGNITE, for personality development and confidence building.
Earlier, Dr. Muzammil Mushtaq, Assistant TPO and Organizing Secretary, welcomed the guests, while Mr. Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer and Convener, thanked the organizing team and the Cambay Health Care for their generous support and cooperation in the successful organization of the corporate meet.
