IHM Bhopal to be the first institute of country to hold examination through NTA
Bhopal : Minister for Tourism and Culture Sushri Usha Thakur conducted inspection of Institute of Hotel Management (National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology), Bhopal. She directed the managemnt to set up corpus to ensure admission of students belonging to scheduled caste and tribe category. She said that owing to this, the students will not be deprived of education due to lack of funds.
Principal Shri Anand Kumar Singh informed that for the first time in the country, this institute of Bhopal is going to conduct online entrance examination on August 29 through the National Testing Agency (NTA). The placement of the students from this institute is 200 to 300 percent. Online classes of 950 students of the institute are underway. So far, 52 webinars have already been organized.
Director Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Dr. Manoj Singh, Director of Madhya Pradesh Institute of Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Studies Dr. P.K. Sinha and Professors of the Institute were also present on the occasion.
