IIM Amritsar enters Top 100 Management School list in the NIRF ranking

Amritsar: IIM Amritsar debuted with 67th rank in the top 100 management school list released by NIRF. The NIRF ranking is based on the aggregate of scores assigned for Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), Peer Perception. IIM Amritsar has fared well on the parameters like Graduation Outcome and Outreach and Inclusivity with 88.37 and 66 on a scale of 100. A high score on graduation outcome reflects the quality of placements and the high median salary offered to IIM Amritsar students.

Pleased with the entry of IIM Amritsar in the national ranking, Prof. Nagarajan Ramamoorthy, Director IIM Amritsar, congratulated the faculty and staff of the Institute and applauded their efforts. Director IIM Amritsar said, “we will enter the top 25 list within two years as we have made a considerable leap in terms of improvement in teaching-learning resources by recruiting quality faculty members in every area. I am confident that the results of the progress we have made since 2019-20 will be visible within two years. Prof. Ramamoorthy also said that IIM Amritsar would see a leap in its ranking as we move to our Manawala campus in the coming years.
