IIM Trichy inaugurates the second batch of Strategic Leadership Development Programme for Unit Heads and Group Heads of NLC India Limited

The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli inaugurated the second batch of Strategic Leadership Development Programme for Unit Heads and Group Heads of NLC India Limited on March 21, 2022. The three-day program is being held from 21 March to 23 March, 2022. The programme is designed to make the decision-making process more strategic to enable the smooth functioning of the organization with effective leadership. Prof. Mukundhan K V, one of the programme Director welcomed the participants and briefly discussed the programme design, and highlighted the course.

The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony followed by an address by the Executive education Program chairperson, Prof. Prashant Gupta. He explained the programme structure and mentioned that the program intends to impart a deeper understanding of strategic leadership. Mr. Ashok Dattatray, the Chief General Manager, NLC India Ltd, then addressed the gathering. He mentioned that the programme would be an opportunity for the participants to get a good business perspective so that the business running process becomes smooth and beneficial for future endeavors.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. V. Gopal one of the Programme Directors for the programme. He thanked the management of IIM Trichy and NLC India Ltd for providing this learning opportunity to the executives. He stated that it is also a learning opportunity for the faculty members as one also learns by teaching. Being a knowledge leader, one has to learn in a mutually beneficial way. The executives are the facilitators of learning, and it is truly appreciable on their part to dedicate time and enthusiasm despite all the constraints.
