ILGISN and EFER: cooperation continues!
A meeting was held at the Institute of Forestry, Mining and Construction Sciences with the participation of representatives of the Institute and the Engineering Center of Fire Robotics “EFER”.
The purpose of the meeting was to coordinate interaction in the preparation and employment of PetrSU students.
The meeting was attended by the executive director of LLC EFER Musiychuk Vladimir Denisovich and the financial director Zverev Andrey Leonidovich. Petrozavodsk University was represented by the Director of the Institute of State Medical and Social Sciences Vadim Mikhailovich Kostyukevich, Professor of the Department of Transport and Technological Machines and Equipment Igor Gennadievich Skobtsov, Associate Professor Andrey Arkadyevich Shubin, Head of the Innovation Projects Department of PetrSU Pavel Olegovich Schukin.
Various issues on deepening cooperation within the framework of the agreement concluded between PetrSU and LLC “EFER” in 2016 were considered. The participants of the meeting noted that graduates of PetrSU of different years, including those who have recently graduated from the university, are successfully working at the enterprise.
The subject of discussion was the options for spot training of personnel for the enterprise, vocational guidance activities for students of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, adaptation of the educational process in the direction of “Technological machines and equipment” to the needs of the enterprise-employer.
Decisions were made on the organization of excursions for students of various courses to the enterprise, undergoing industrial practice for students, as well as the possibility of employing senior students on a part-time basis. There is a request for the performance of final qualification works on the subject of LLC “EFER”.
As vocational guidance activities, it is proposed to create an information space on the premises of the Institute of Forest, Mining and Construction Sciences, where a stand for the employment of graduates of the institute will be placed, and a sample of the company’s products will be exhibited as an exhibit.
The Fire Robotics Engineering Center is waiting for graduates of the Technological Machines and Equipment direction of the Institute of Forestry, Mining and Construction Sciences.
