IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry join hands with MIT-World Peace University to emphasis on R&D under the Saksham Bharat Abhiyaan
New Delhi: Research plays an important role in the development of any country as the evolution of science and technology heavily depends on it. According to a report by UNESCO India’s expenditure is far more less compared to countries like US, Israel, China and Korea. As this is highly alarming IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Knowledge Committee along with MIT-World Peace University, Pune, will be hosting a virtual summit ‘INDCON 2020-202’ at Delhi, highlighting its theme of “Building Stronger R&D Ecosystem – Enabling Saksham Bharat Abhiyaan.“
After conducting its first successful conference in Pune, now INDCON 2020-2021 will be held in Delhi. The conference has been divided into three day long sessions starting from 26th November to 28th November. The virtual event will witness the presence of industry stalwarts, scholars, educationalists and key personalities from Delhi. INDCON 2020-2021 will have a series of conclaves for over Eight months covering major cities like, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Indore and Chandigarh.
The event will kickstart with an inaugural session by Chief Guest – Mr. Shailesh Shrivastava, Secretary – Ministry of Heavy Industry & Public Enterprises, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi along with Shri Rajiv Podar, President, IMC Chamber of Commerce and Shri. Rahul V. Karad – Managing Trustee & Executive President, MAEER’s and Executive President, MIT World Peace University. and who will be discussing about “Creating Next Frontier in Research & Development Ecosystem, Enabling Atmanirbhar Bharat”. Many other insightful sessions are also scheduled like Role of educational institutions in research and development initiatives in India, Industry – Academia Knowledge collaboration, role of corporates in India, Opportunities and Challenges for sustainable R&D initiatives in India.
