Indian School of Business hosts fireside chat with Revathi Advaithi, CEO, Flex

 

New Delhi: Ms. Revathi Advaithi, CEO, Flex, participated in a fireside chat session hosted by the Indian School of Business (ISB) with the theme “Global women leaders and their contribution in shaping the next generation of the industry and the workforce,” moderated by Mahua Mukherjee, ISBPGPMAX alum and Co-Founder, The Star in Me. This virtual session was a part of the ISB PGPMAX Speaker series where Global Business Leaders address the ISB community.
In this fireside chat, Ms. Advaithi shared her personal life experiences, how she navigated important business decisions through the pandemic, and what it was like leading a $24 Billion global manufacturing company. The discussion also touched upon manufacturing and the possible transformative innovations lying in store for the industry and emphasized being an advocate for building up inclusive and diverse workplaces.

Ms. Advaithi also spoke about her toughest career decisions and highlighted the importance of aligning the company with core values to “do the right thing always.”

Her advice for woman leaders was to chart out their own path, take risks, build their network, and surround themselves with people who will believe in them and give them the right opportunities to succeed.
