Inter School District Level Table Tennis U-19 Boys held at Mini Secretariat Shopian

SHOPIAN : Department of Youth Services and Sports District Shopian organised Inter School District level competition in the discipline of Table Tennis U-19 year’s Boys at Mini Secretariat, here.

The Competition was inaugurated by District Youth Service sand Sports Officer Gurmukh Singh

On the occasion, Dutta interacted with the students and gave a brief description about the benefits of Table Tennis. He said like most sports, table tennis offers great mind-body stimulation, aerobic exercise and social interaction.

Unlike many sports, however, the overall risk for injury with table tennis is quite low. Due to the fast-paced, short-distance nature of the sport, both gross and fine muscle movements are improved, he added.
