Interactive meeting held on Budget 2020

Aligarh: Mr Avan Kumar Singh, a chartered accountant and President of Income Tax Bar Association, Aligarh today addressed an interactive meeting on Union Budget 2020 at the department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University.

Mr Singh analysed the budget and talked about the New Tax Regime, Residential Status, Public-Private Partnership, various amendments and other aspects of the budget.

Prof Nawab Ali Khan, Chairman, department of Commerce gave an overview of the budget.

Dr Mohd Asif Khan, Director, Centre of Professional Courses (CPC) examined certain government policies.

Prof Mohd Shamim discussed New Tax Regime and its benefits.

Prof Imran Saleem, in his concluding remarks, emphasized the need of organizing such events in the future.

A large number of students asked their queries and took part in the discussion enthusiastically.

The event was coordinated by Dr Ahmed Musa Khan and Dr Mohd Nayyer Rehman. Ms Shiva Singh conducted the programme.
