International Conference of Asian Libraries from Nov 24

Aligarh : The Sixth International Conference of Asian Libraries (ICAL-2022) on ‘Information, Knowledge and Research: Changing Role of Libraries’ of the Maulana Azad Library and the Department of Library and Information Science in collaboration with the Asian Library Association (ASIALA) will take place from November 24 to 26 at the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

“AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor will inaugurate the conference. The programme will feature Dr Gayas Makhdumi (Conference Director and former librarian, Jamia Millia Islamia), Dr Sanjeev Kumar (General Secretary, ASIALA) and Dr Susanta K Senapati (Vice President, ASIALA)”, said Prof Nishat Fatima (Organising Secretary and AMU Librarian).

She added: “More than 200 delegates are expected to join the conference”.
