Jan Abhiyaan activities under MTMP begin with great fervour at Bandipora

BANDIPORA : In run up to “My Town My Pride” programme, Jan Abhiyan activities began today with great fervour at Bandipora.

All the three towns viz Bandipora, Sumbal and Hajin witnessed multifarious Jan Abhiyan activities.

As part of MTMP programme, Municipal Committee Sumbal installed hoardings disseminating information regarding various Govt Schemes.

Similarly, various activities were carried out by Municipal Committees of Bandipora and Hajin to start MTMP with great enthusiasm.

District Youth Services and Sports office Bandipora also conducted sports activities under the banner of “Jan Abhiyan” My Town My Pride at different institutions, falling under town areas of Bandipora, Sumbal and Hajin.

All the three towns also witnessed Golden Card registration camps to boost the registration.

The day also witnessed Plantation drives conducted by Municipal committee Sumbal and forest department.

All departments have intensified activities under the Jan Abhiyan campaign of MTMP to saturate the targets set out for the benefit of the people.
