JK IMPARD organizes capacity building extension training for Sarpanchs at Anantnag

ANANTNAG : The Centre for Rural Development, Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (J&K IMPARD), in collaboration with district administration Anantnag, organised a one-day capacity building extension training course for Sarpanchs of the district.

The training course was attended by about sixty Sarpanchs from different panchayats of the district.

The expert team comprising Dr. Shafia Wani and Dr. M Ashraf from JK-IMPARD deliberated on the aim and objective of the programme.

The capacity building course included related component subjects such as Panchayat Governance, Panchayat Financial Management, Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP), Social Audit and Implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

Additional District Development Commissioner Anantnag , Bashir Ahmad and District Panchayat Officer, Abdul Rashid and other concerned government functionaries were present on the occasion.
