JNMC faculty elected as ISA UP Chapter president

Aligarh : Prof Syed Moied Ahmed, Department of Anaesthesiology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has been elected as the President of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologist (ISA) UP Chapter for 2021-22 and 2022-23 sessions.

As the president of ISA UP Chapter, he delineated efficient evaluation, planning, and usage of a wide array of medical procedures and devices for the purpose of maintaining a safe pathway for oxygenation and ventilation in the lecture on ‘Dissecting Airway Management – Choose or Lose’ at UPISACON conference at the Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

He elaborated how the basic airway manoeuvres are the most important steps and how patients with serious or persistent airway compromise typically require advanced airway devices.

“Anaesthesiologists from all over the Country and different parts of the world and other allied speciality professionals attended the conference to expand their expertise”, said Ahmed.

At the UPISACON conference, he also directed the Airway Management Workshop.
