JNMC faculty member elected as IABS Fellow

Aligarh: Prof Najmul Islam, Department of Biochemistry, J N Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been elected as Fellow of the Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences (IABS), Lucknow, India.

With a teaching and research experience spanning over 28 years, Prof Islam has more than 1700 Citations of his published work in peer reviewed international journals of repute. His H-index is 20 and i-10 index is 33 as shown on the Google Scholar page.

Prof Islam has published over 70 papers and articles in well known international and national journals. He attended the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and the School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), Cleveland, Ohio, USA for his Post Doctoral Fellow experience.

He has been the President (2015) of Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences (IABS), Lucknow, India and is currently the Hony. Secretary of AMU Teachers Association.
