“Kill Corona Campaign-2” launched to spread awareness about Corona
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Corona cannot be completely defeated without the active cooperation of the people. Lock down is not the permanent solution for Corona. To completely eliminate Corona, it is necessary for every person to resolve that he / she will mandatorily use mask and adhere to physical distancing, that is, to maintain appropriate distance from each other. With this, the chain of infection will break.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a Kill Corona Campaign-2, a public awareness campaign is being organized from August 1 till August 14 to completely eradicate Corona in the state. During this campaign we have to strongly resolve with full mutual support to break the chain of infection completely. He appealed to everyone to extend their full support in this campaign in freeing the state from Corona infection.
Main points of Kill Corona Campaign
The Home Department has been made the nodal department at the state level for monitoring and coordination during Kill Corona Campaign-2. Action will be taken by the Urban Development, Panchayat and Rural Development, Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department apart from the Home Department in the activities conducted in this campaign.
The theme of the campaign is “Sankalp ki chain jodo-Sankraman ki chain todo”. Apart from this, the ‘Ek Mask-Anek Zindagi’ and ‘Roko-Toko’ campaign will also continue.
Taking into account the need to conduct economic activities after August 3, no lockdown order will be issued from the district level without prior permission of the state government.
No public tour programmes will be organized by public representatives under Kill Corona Campaign-2 while foundation laying of development works, bhoomi-pujan and launch etc. will be banned in the area. Foundation laying, bhoomi-pujan / launch programmes can be organized while adhering to the parameters of social distancing through video conferencing. During this period, all types of political rallies will also be completely banned. Public representatives can organize virtual rallies online in their area.
Public representatives can meet the general public at their office or residence and listen to their problems / complaints, but special care should be taken that not more than 5 people gather at a time.
It will be mandatory for everyone to wear mask and follow the rules of physical distancing. Fine will be imposed and other legal action will be taken against those who do not follow these rules. As a rule, challans will be made against those who leave their houses without putting on a mask, besides they will be given two free masks.
