King’s College London’s Nursing program ranked #2 in the world for fifth year in a row

King’s continues to be home to the world’s second highest ranked nursing faculty, according to the 2022 installment of the QS World University Rankings by Subject.

The QS World University rankings by Subject, is an extensive overview of international higher education performance, by global higher education analysts QS Quacquarelli Symonds. For the subject of Nursing, 170 institutions from 29 locations were ranked across five broad disciplinary areas.

The data provides students, policymakers, academic administrators, faculty, and employers with insight into institutional performance. The methodology is comprised of an overall score and five key indicators: Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Citations Per Paper and H-Index (the average productivity/impact per scholar).

While sustaining its position as number 2 in the world, nursing at King’s improved upon its overall score from last year. For Academic Reputation, nursing at King’s scored 96.7 out of 100 – which was bettered only by the University of Pennsylvania – the world-leader.
