Korea Maritime & Ocean University: Chairman Park Jeong-seok of Goryeo-woon received an honorary doctorate in business administration

Chairman Jeong-Seok Park of Koryo-Woon Park was awarded an honorary doctorate in business administration at the ‘ Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony ‘ held in the seminar room of the new building of Maritime University on the 27th.



On this day, the ceremony for the honorary doctorate was attended by President Do Do-Hee Do, Chairman Jung-Seok Park, Koryo -Woon Park, and a number of key internal and external officials.



Chairman Park Jeong- seok took office as CEO of Koryowoon in 2007 and increased corporate value. He worked hard to nurture high-quality talent with an attitude of leading by example, and in particular , achieved results such as growing Koryo Woon into the world’s 14th largest container shipping company.



In addition, it has produced a phenomenal management performance of surplus for 38 consecutive years, leading to the overall development of the industry, and recently established its own IT system to lead customer satisfaction.

Korea Transport is a medium-sized shipping company that mainly provides container liner services to Japan, China, Southeast Asia, Russia, India, and the Middle East. Founded in 1954, it has been developing along with the history of Korea’s shipping industry .



It has been developing outbound cargo transportation as its main business, and is currently providing easy and convenient online customer service by effectively combining shipping and IT .
