Korea Maritime & Ocean University gets 10 million funding from Hansung & Kitec

Hansung & Kitech Co. , Ltd. ( Chairman Sang-Hyeon Ahn ), a company specializing in manufacturing and developing fitness bikes , donated 10 million won to the university development fund .



The development fund delivery ceremony held on the 25th was attended by key officials from both institutions, including President Do Do-hee and Hansung & Kitec Chairman Ahn Sang-hyun .



Ahn Sang-hyun, chairman of Hansung & Kitec, is an alumni who graduated from the Engineering Department (29th class ) . He has delivered about 500 million won worth of university development funds to date .



With the development fund delivered, the university plans to make efforts to develop the university, including fostering excellent professional manpower .



Ahn Sang-hyun, chairman of Hansung & Kitec , said , “I hope that Korea Maritime and Ocean University, which has international capabilities, will grow into a prestigious university that fosters excellent maritime talent . ” .



“ I am deeply grateful to President Sang-Hyun Ahn for his constant efforts to develop my alma mater, ” said President Do – Dae Do- Hee .



Meanwhile, Hansung & Kitech joined the Future Ship Talent Fostering Support Association last year and is contributing to fostering talent in the future ship field .



The Future Ships Talent Fostering Support Association is a support organization established to nurture talents in the field of future ships .



A number of organizations related to the maritime industry, including Hansung & Kitec, participate .
