Korea Maritime & Ocean University gets 50 million from Jeongyang Shipping

Jeongyang Shipping Co., Ltd. ( Chairman Lee Dong-sik ) donated 50 million won to the university development fund on the 8th .



Jeongyang Shipping is a Busan-based company that has been focusing on ship manpower supply and ship management business . The founder, Lee Dong-sik, graduated from the Department of Navigation .



The development fund delivery ceremony held at the university headquarters that day was attended by key officials from both institutions, including President Do Do-hee Do and Chairman Lee Dong-sik of Jeongyang Shipping .



The development fund delivered on this day will be used for the overall development of the university , especially for nurturing maritime talent .



Lee Dong-sik, chairman of Jeongyang Shipping, said, “I would like to thank President Do Do-hee and other faculty members who are working hard for the development of the alma mater . ”
