Korea Maritime & Ocean University receives 50 million from Shinsung Shipping Co., Ltd.

University received a university development fund of 50 million won from Shinsung Shipping Co. , Ltd. ( CEO Park Young-kyu ) , a mid-sized national shipping company .



Established in May 1988 , Shinsung Shipping is a company that has been in the shipping industry for over 30 years with the purpose of providing outbound cargo transportation services . It has its head office in Seocho-dong, Seoul and a branch in Choryang-dong, Busan .



The development fund delivery ceremony held at the university headquarters on the 28th was attended by key officials from both institutions, including President Do Do-hee and Vice President Kim Jong-guk .



Based on the development fund delivered on this day, the university plans to use it for overall university development, such as fostering excellent talent .



President Do Do-hee said , “ Based on the development fund received, we will make efforts to achieve mutual growth between our university and Shinsung Shipping as well as the industry as a whole . ” said .
