KPMG in India forms an alliance with the National Human Resource Development (‘NHRD’) Bangalore Chapter to provide training to members and non-member individuals on a variety of short virtual instructor-led executive training programmes
Mumbai – KPMG in India and the NHRD Bangalore Chapter today announced that they would be coming together to offer a variety of short virtual instructor led executive training programmes specifically targeted at Human Resources (‘HR’) professionals across various levels. These programmes will allow HR professionals to hone specific skills that they need to build and learn outside of their own domain.
The NHRD Bangalore Chapter is one of India’s largest networks for HR professionals, which plays a role in augmenting knowledge and skills to prepare leaders for tomorrow. Through this alliance, KPMG in India, along with the NHRD Bangalore Chapter, aims to help and upskill HR professionals pan India, across industries, by catering to their training and development needs for professional growth.
The programmes being offered would be virtual and instructor-led executive training programmes, which KPMG in India as training ally would be providing. Each programme would be insight-led and would have a job-relevant curriculum, designed, and delivered by KPMG in India’s expert facilitators. Some of these executive programmes are around the themes – Stakeholder Management, Executive Presence, Implementing Design Thinking, Communication Excellence, Project Management, Analytics for Managers and Finance for HR Managers etc.
All of these programmes will cater to HR professionals right from junior to mid to senior levels. One of the key highlights of enrolling for any of these programmes would be that these programmes will probably help the candidates to gain practical insights on the application of concepts and be able to apply them back at the workplace. Additionally, it would also be providing an opportunity for these HR professionals, to role model a learning culture in their respective organisations by inculcating an idea of how one could take charge of their own learning.
Sharing his views on the alliance, Vijay Gogoi, Partner and Lead, Learning Services, KPMG in India said “We believe that our alliance will help certify deserving and trained human resources professionals, and probably also help generate appropriate employment opportunities for them. Together with the NHRD Bangalore Chapter our programmes have been designed in a way, that HR professionals can draw from concepts like design thinking, project management, analytics, and core HR skills, which has the potential to transform what they can offer to their business”
