KVIB holds awareness program on PMEGP at ITI Reasi

REASI: An Awareness programme under Azadi Kaa Amrit Mahotsav was today organised by Khadi & Village Industries Board Reasi here at Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Reasi to aware the trainees and public about the benefits of Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP).

Amarjeet Singh I/c District Officer KVIB Reasi, while addressing the public, informed that easy loan facilities were provided to the beneficiaries through recognized financial institutions for self-employment and self-entrepreneurship with the provision of subsidy and technical support.

He said new ventures of manufacturing, service and trading sectors can be opened under PMEGP and JKREGP. He also sensitized the participants about procedures and various formalities required for registration and uploading of application forms under PMEGP & JKREGP scheme.

The camp was attended by Rajinder Singh Superintendent ITI Reasi; Anil Sudan, District Coordinator J&K Bank; Ritu District Coordinator Mahila Shakti Kendar; Monika Sharma Women Welfare officer Reasi, staff of KVIB and ITI Reasi besides a large number of general public.
