KVK Bandipora organises training/ demonstration programme for tribal farmers of Sirander Village

Bandipora : The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Bandipora today organised a daylong training cum demonstration programme under ‘Front Line Demonstration on Maize’ here.

More than 90 tribal farmers from Sirander Village participated in the programme.

Incharge Programme Coordinator, KVK Bandipora, Dr. Tariq Sultan gave a brief introduction about the programme and emphasized farmers for proper varietal selection and latest technology to improve the production and enhancement of livelihood.

The other Scientists who spoke on the occasion include Dr. Hilal Ahmad Malik, Dr. Nazir Ahmad Mir and Dr. Henna Wani.

Later, seeds of Maize (SMC-3) were distributed among the farmers of the village.
