LETI’s Preparatory Department Graduates Students From 23 Countries

On June 28, a graduation ceremony took place in the assembly hall of LETI, where students and graduates celebrated the end of the academic year.

Renat Yalyshev, Head of the International Students Office at LETI, thanked students for their efforts during the academic year.

“By graduating from LETI, you are taking the first step in your career and life. We are very pleased that you have chosen to study at our university. There is not a lot of self-promotion, but there is a lot of real learning. If you make it through your studies, you’ll have a dynamic career and a successful life ahead of you. We wish you all the best in your careers, and this year’s graduates are examples of how to succeed in your studies and achieve your goals! Wherever you go after graduation, we wish you a happy life, and remember LETI!”

Renat awarded diplomas to the best international graduates of bachelor’s programs. Mai Tung Duong, a bachelor’s student of the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Telecommunications from Vietnam, who repeatedly won prizes in the regional Olympiads in Theoretical Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, was distinguished for his academic activities. In social activities, Awena David Liongo from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ruzive Anesu from Zimbabwe were the best graduates of the Faculty of Industrial Automation and Electrical Engineering, who have been performing on the stage of the First Electrotechnical for four years of study.

“Since you have been able to learn another language, it means that you can learn even better than the others. I advise you to watch a lot of videos in Russian and, of course, read. Another important piece of advice is to make friends. Make friends with your future groupmates because at the university you need to exchange information, and it does not matter what country you come from,” wished Ruzive Anesu, the best international student of LETI 2023, to the graduates of the Preparatory Department.

Pothupitiya Rasika from Sri Lanka and Ikeme Izuchukwu Dennis from Nigeria were honored as the best international master’s graduates.

Nguyen Trong Nhan from Vietnam was honored as the best international Ph.D. graduate. In June 2023, Nhan won first place in the Asian and African student competition “Victory in the Hearts of Generations.”

“Try to develop your talents and skills constantly. It is important not to give up and not to give up. Try harder and harder to become educated and literate people and worthy LETI students.”
