Likee Live, a tool to replace social distancing with virtual proximity

The song talks about hopes of things getting back on track after Covid-19.
In another series of live sessions, doctors from cricketer Yuvraj Singh-backed Healthians, which is one of India’s leading doorstep healthcare provider, interacted with Likers and answered queries related to Covid-19.
Further, Anushka Sen, a renowned actress with 28+ million followers on Likee is also fond of doing various live streaming sessions for her followers. During this lockdown season, Anushka reaches out to her fans on varied occasions through live sessions. Many Bollywood stars and other influencers are turning to live streaming to interact with the masses and keep the ball rolling during the hour of distress.
More number of people are warming up with the LIVE feature on Likee, given the ease of using it and the vast reach of the platform. To start live streaming, a Liker simply needs to tap on the “record video” button resting at the bottom of the app, and select ‘LIVE’ option from the bottom left of the screen. As a host, you can also choose a solo live stream or a multi-host live stream with up to four creators. Viewers interact with the hosts via comments, and they can also send gifts or beans (Likee currency) to the host to show gratitude towards the host(s). The LIVE feature in Likee also enables hosts to alter the mood of the video. One can also select desired face feature editing suitable for the live video theme.
Another interesting feature of the live streaming sessions is the one wherein users gift crown to the host if they like the session. For gifting a crown to a live session broadcaster, users need to pay the Likee Beans earned on the platform.
