Litterateurs donate Rs one lakh for Corona relief on Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan’s appeal
Bhopal : The process of financial support continues for the welfare of Corona affected people from different districts of the state following Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s appeal. While on the one hand senior litterateurs of the capital Bhopal pledged to contribute to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, other social organizations have also extended their helping hand in times of this calamity on the other hand. Every citizen of the state is playing the role of a warrior in this war. This awareness will give a distinct identity to the state.
On Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s call, several industrial organizations have extended financial support for assistance in the fund. Assistance is also being provided in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund from Hindi Bhavan. Chief of Hindi Bhavan Trust, Shri Kailash Chandra Pant, said that in just 5 days of the call of Shri Chouhan, an amount of Rs one lakh has been deposited by litterateurs. Youth of NCC and NSS are engaged in generating public awareness work in various districts of the state.
People are being told to fully follow the lock down. Just as Sushma Kelkar, an elderly woman in Indore, has taken the initiative to make masks on her own, in the same way, Smt. Jyoti Jain of Jabalpur has prepared about 5000 masks and distributed them in different areas. Not only this, they were also sanitized and made aware of the method of its use. The order to provide food to the police personnel doing duty during lockdown by citizens is also going on. In Tulsi Nagar, Shivaji Nagar areas of Bhopal city, women provided food packets to policemen.
Awareness increasing
Every person should use mask, for this, there are reports of mutual advice being given by citizens, which is an example of public awareness of the state. The news of Corona infected coming back home from the hospital in large numbers also excited the public. While on the one hand, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is getting information about medical efforts and support of people during a high level review meeting every day, on the other hand, this sentiment is visible in villages in every district. Not only senior administrative officials but also functionaries of social organizations have presented examples of working as Corona warriors. Because of this, the work of controlling Corona virus in Madhya Pradesh is getting continuous success.
Madhya Pradesh will become an example for other states
The Public representatives are also active to ensure that Madhya Pradesh should become an example for other states. The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan in the first week itself after taking the charge of the state inspected the arrangements at women hostels, control room, food and quarantine arrangement himself and boosted the morale of the team. Other elected public representatives are also constantly working to control Corona. Former Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra made people aware of the importance of maintaining cleanliness and distance in Datia. Shri Shailendra Jain is making people aware of the importance of sanitizer in Sagar. News of such initiatives by the public representatives in Indore, Hoshangabad, Khandwa, Alirajpur, Mandla and Sidhi districts are also coming. In Gwalior and Chambal area, the common people have also become aware of the Corona infection and are combating corona infection. This spirit of co-operation with the Government will soon succeed in controlling the corona virus in the state.
Today, various voluntary organisations informed about the work being done to tackle Corona. This include workers of Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Gayatri Parivar and volunteers of Seva Bharti. These efforts will not only make the efforts of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Chouhan day and night’s hard work meaningful, but will also write a new history of public participation in the important work of disease control and saving lives of the citizens.
