Luoyang-Ural University Opens Doors to New Opportunities
The establishment of the joint Luoyang-Ural University in China has significant potential and will provide numerous opportunities for education, science, and innovation. During the visit of the Russian delegation to China, Victor Koksharov, the Rector of the Ural Federal University, presented the project for the new university to Russian and Chinese colleagues.
“The joint project between Luoyang-Ural University and Henan University of Science and Technology aims to enhance educational programs and teaching technologies, bringing them to a new level. The project will allow students to improve their proficiency in Russian and Chinese languages. This initiative is expected to play a significant role in the development of relations between our countries in science, education, cultural, and social spheres. The universities share several criteria, including the number of students and teachers, areas of training, and the ability to develop and implement innovations,” said Victor Koksharov.
Koksharov stated that Luoyang has a rich culture, a strong tradition in science development, and a long history of successful student and faculty exchanges with Russia. Therefore, the Luoyang-Ural University project has all the necessary components to establish a first-class innovative university.
The establishment of the university was supported by the People’s Government of Henan Province and Luoyang City, the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
