Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan reviews situation and arrangements of Corona

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the growth rate of Corona in Madhya Pradesh is much lower than in the whole country. Corona growth rate of Madhya Pradesh is 2.74 percent, while that of India is 5.4 percent. Similarly, the Corona positivity rate of Madhya Pradesh is 4.54 percent, while that of India is 5.43 percent. At the same time, with 68.3 percent recovery rate, Madhya Pradesh has reached the second position in India, Rajasthan is in the first place. Corona recovery rate of the entire country is 48.4 percent. The number of Corona tests being conducted per day has reached 6729 in Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that now that the lockdown has been opened, it has become mandatory for every person to wear a mask when leaving the house. Masks are very effective in preventing Corona infection. ACS Health Shri Mohammed Suleman informed that it is the use of masks that Japan overcame Corona.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state today through video conferencing from Mantralaya. Home and Health Minister Shri Narottam Mishra, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman etc. were present on the occasion.

First contact must be quarantined

The review of Ashok Nagar and Datia districts has revealed that some new cases of Corona have surfaced there. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that contact tracing should be conducted compulsorily in Corona positive cases. Also, samples of all the persons who come in contact first should be compulsorily taken and they should be quarantined.

Fifty high flow oxygen machines received

ACS Health Shri Mohammad Suleman informed that 50 out of 250 high flow oxygen machines ordered for the state, have been delivered. He told that through these machines, sufficient amount of oxygen can be given daily to the patients, which is quite effective in the treatment of Corona.

Five districts free of Corona infection

During the review, it was found that 5 districts of the state including Alirajpur, Harda, Hoshangabad, Seoni and Jhabua are free from Corona infection.
