Madhya Pradesh Technical Education Minister Shri Joshi reviews department schemes
Bhopal : Minister of State for Technical Education, Skill Development (Independent Charge), School Education and Labour Shri Deepak Joshi said that 450 training officers of ITIs selected by the Professional Examination Board will soon be appointed. Shri Joshi was reviewing the Technical Education Department schemes. He instructed officials to present a proposal for 883 new posts in the Technical Education Department soon.
Shri Joshi said that the work of buildings approved for Polytechnic and ITI should be completed within the time limit. 17 buildings of Polytechnic and 90 of ITI have been approved. He said that only employment based trades should be opened in ITI. Cases of suspended officers/ employees should be redressed soon.
Shri Joshi issued instructions to begin training in Mukhya Mantri Kaushal Samvardhan and Kaushalya Yojana from August 1. He said that the review of the construction works of Global Skill Park will be done every week. He instructed to make proposals related to the defence courses. Formation of New Service Recruitment Rules of the department in place of year 2004 service recruitment rules were also discussed. Shri Joshi said that the commendable work done by SGSITS, Indore should be implemented in other engineering colleges also.
Principal Secretary Technical Education Shri Sanjay Bandopadhyay told that so far 19 thousand registrations have been done in Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana out of which over12, 500 cases of students have already been approved.
Director Skill Development Shri Sanjeev Singh, Director Technical Education, Dr. Virendra Kumar and other officials were present at the meeting.
