Marwadi University partners with Coursera to offer courses in new age skills
Aims to strengthen student employability, imparting industry ready skills across a host of UG & PG Programs at the campus
New Delhi: Marwadi University announced a partnership with Coursera, one of the largest online learning platforms in the world, to provide its students and faculty access to 4,500+ high-quality, job-relevant courses and 1,500+ Guided Projects to supplement on-campus learning. The courses will help build critical skills for future jobs like AI and Machine Learning Specialists, Data Analysts, Strategic Advisors, Digital Transformation Specialists, Information Security Analysts, Big Data Specialists, and Digital Marketing and Strategy Specialists.
The partnership will drive student employability, incorporating digital skills programs into the University curriculums. It will also help strengthen MU’s offering of UG, PG, diploma and professional programs across disciplines. MU has been in principle awarded ‘Centre of Excellence’ status by the Government of Gujarat.
Through Coursera for Campus, Marwadi University students and faculty will gain access to job-relevant courses across digital marketing, project management, cloud computing, data science, blockchain, computer science, and AI. These courses are taught by top instructors from over 200 leading universities and companies like Yale, University of Michigan, Google, and IBM, allowing students to learn in-demand, job-ready skills in addition to the rich on-campus curricula. Integrating Coursera’s content into the academic curriculum will allow Marwadi University to expand learning, offer job-relevant specializations, improve job readiness before the students graduate, boosting its strong suit of high-paying placements.

All faculties will be able to take up courses for themselves and can incorporate them into their current academic sessions. 2,500 students will have unlimited access to guided projects to equip them with skills in real-world tools. It can be integrated with the proctored assessment module. MU will use Coursera to offer not just guided projects, but advanced courses from reputed universities and placement-related courses.”
