Matru Vandana Saptah- PMMVY, Poshan Maah 2021 commences in District Kishtwar

KISHTWAR : Matru Vandana Saptah under Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) and Poshan Maah 2021 today commenced here across District Kishtwar to spread mass awareness about the malnutrition and its hazardous effects.

The campaign is being conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sharma and close supervision of District Programme officer, Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) Kishori Lal Sharma.

The launch of the campaign was marked by an inaugural function with DPO ICDS was the chief Guest.

The inaugural function was attended by Supervisors Anuradha Parihar and Mehnaz Tabsum, District Co-ordinators, MSK, Roshi Shama and Mohsin Nisar, besides field functionaries, AWWs.

On the occasion, the DPO briefed the field functionaries, supervisors, MSK Officer present in the function about the benefits of the flagship programme PMMVY.

He emphasised on the uploading of daily activities carried during the entire week on dashboard. The AWWs and supervisors were also asked to follow the theme.
