Medical Education Minister Sarang inspects arrangements at Hamidia
Bhopal : Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang visited Hamidia Hospital at Gandhi Medical College on Sunday. He inspected the arrangements available in the new building there and instructed to correct the deficiencies in two days. He said that special care should be taken to ensure cleanliness and sanitation. Mock drills should be carried out in view of fire and other safety. He gave necessary instructions to the concerned people from the building entry to the elevators, lights, etc.
Shri Sarang said that in view of the rise in the number of patients of Corona, the government has also made a wide range of arrangements. He obtained information about the beds and other arrangements available in the new building. Shri Sarang also inquired about A.C., ventilator, transportation of patients and generator system.
Minister Shri Sarang met 2 women victims of domestic violence admitted in the surgical ward and inquired about their health and treatment. He said that the team of doctors of Gandhi Medical College has saved the lives of these maltreated women by surgery, it is a laudable work.
Divisional Commissioner Shri Kavindra Kiyawat, Dean Dr. Aruna Kumar and Superintendent Dr. ID Chaurasia were present on the occasion.
