Meeting of the of PetrSU, Academic Council (June)

The main report “On the approval of the program of strategic academic leadership of PetrSU” at the meeting of the Academic Council was made by the Rector of PetrSU A.V. Voronin.
Anatoly Viktorovich noted that over the period of implementation of the flagship university development program in 2017-2021. the university team has achieved significant results in all areas of activity: educational, scientific and innovative, international, educational, social and career guidance.

Entering a new stage of development, the university is clearly aware of modern challenges, is guided by strategic guidelines and priorities for the development of science and education, established by the Decree of the President of Russia dated May 7, 2018 No. 204 “On national goals and strategic objectives of the development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024”, federal projects “Development of integration processes in science, higher education and industry”, “Personnel for the digital economy”, the national project “Science and universities”. the national program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”, the Strategy of Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation, analyzes and takes into account in its work the socio-economic realities of the external environment, plans and organizes its activities in accordance with the available resource potential,

The analysis of external and internal factors affecting the development of the university, taking into account its current state, allows us to focus the scientific and educational potential in the next ten years on solving a wide range of tasks in the following priorities: digital economy (digital technologies and platform solutions for transforming basic sectors of the economy target subjects of the Russian Federation); bioresources of the North and the Arctic (effective methods and technologies for highly productive waste-free use, taking into account the preservation and sustainable development of natural ecosystems) and the quality of life in the North (health, social well-being and improving the quality of human life in the North).

Together with partners, PetrSU participates in the creation of a consortium, which will ensure the implementation of joint educational, scientific and innovative production projects.
