MESC AWARDED FOR ITS DISTINGUISHED CONTRIBUTION IN INDIASKILLS NATIONALS 2021

New Delhi: For the great success of IndiaSkills 2021, Media & Entertainment Skills Council has been awarded by Col. Arun Kumar Chandel, Head of WorldSkills, for its distinguished contribution in skill trades of Media & Entertainment Sector. The award has been presentedin the presence of Mr. Mohit Soni, CEO-MESC, Ms. Pooja Arora, Senior Manager-MESC and Ms. Nidhi Mehra, Manager-MESC. There has been 14 candidates from M&E skill trade (Graphic Design Technology, Print Media Technology, Industrial Design Technology and 3D Digital Game Art) who bagged medals for their outstanding performances in the competitions. These candidates were Abhinav Verma, K Durga Pavan, Pankaj Sitaram Singh, Subhajit Daw, Srishti Mitra, Steven Harris R, Utsav, Vageesha Jain, Amal Teerthankar, Devika Jhunjhunwala, Kopal Ajay Gangrade, Aditya Deepak Hugay, Omkar Gautam Kokatay and Swagat Choudhary. Under the guidance of MESC, these students have been extensively trained by the industry experts.

 

These skill champions will now undergo rigorous training at Authorized WorldSkills India Training Centers, under the guidance of Mr. Mohit Soni, to bring gold from the international platform of WorldSkills, Shanghai 2022.

 

To empower skilled youth, Media & Entertainment initiated Authorized WorldSkills India Training Centers (AWSITC). These are designed to train and groom the budding WorldSkills champions.AWSITC prepares candidates to win the gold with their skills at National and International stages. These centres engage, the Industry to support/participate in training by facilitating Experts/ Infrastructure and Live Projects. AWSITC ensure the candidate is set to hit the stage with global standards and as per the evolving demand from the Industry.
