More than 7000 tech creators will compete at ‘Technovate, an initiative of IIIT-NR

International Institute of Information technology (IIIT)-Naya Raipur is organizing a three-day inter-college festival ‘Technovate’ to display the talent of participating students from across the country in coding, hackathons which will start on the 4th of November and conclude on the 6th of November where more than 7000 students have registered around the country to participate.

 

Technovate is designed to provide a robust problem-solving environment to help build innovative ideas and a stage to highlight one’s cultural prowess, ranging from stand-up to renounced singers and EDM.

 

Every year, Technovate introduces various competitions and provides a stage for artists in their desired field across the country which is an amalgamation of the creativity and energy of the students. The competitions where on one side will test the talents and quality of the students, whereas, on the other side, the cultural night will help students to show off their fun part. The fest also encourages students’ creativity and technology in a friendly atmosphere.

Director of IIITNR, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sinha, said “We are pleased that the institute can hold the fest after two years due to COVID. He added that the fest is an initiative to create a platform where students from across the country can share their knowledge and research and come out with innovative products for the betterment of society.”

This fest will also help IIIT-NR students to exchange their thoughts and information with the guest students who will be arriving from other institutes. The exchange of information will not create a friendly atmosphere but will also allow students to learn. The event will conclude with some cultural programs like Nukad Natak, Rangotsav, conquer the time, etc., with a cultural night.
