The University of Sheffield, UK is inviting applications for MSc Advanced Control and Systems Engineering (with Industrial Management) course starting in September 2018.
This course is an exciting mix of theory, practice and research, with the added benefit of learning a range of industrial management techniques to allow students to put their knowledge and experience into practice.
The core modules provide students with the range of skills a control and systems engineer needs, and students will learn about fundamental and advanced concepts of modelling, simulation, control, optimisation and systems engineering. There is a strong focus on the generality of these concepts ensuring that students will be equally prepared for careers in a variety of disciplines that rely on control and systems engineer.
Students will also learn a range of management techniques, including project management, risk management, professional skills and effective management of innovative development. The university will give training to students in research methods and students will undertake an extended research project.
Students will be assessed on examinations, coursework assignments and a project dissertation.
Eligibility – First or upper second class honours degree (or international equivalent)
Overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or equivalent.
Fee- £21,450 for the 2018/2019
