MSK Ramban educates people about bad consequences of child marriage

RAMBAN  : Mahila Shakti Kender(MSK), Ramban, organised an awareness campaign to educated the people about the bad consequences of Child marriage, Child Rights and Rights of Senior Citizens here at Doligam, Banihal.

The BDC Chairperson Banihal, Rashida Begum, was the chief guest and BMO Dr. Rabia Khan presided over the function.

District Coordinator MSK Muzaima Banoo highlighted the issues faced by the children and deliberated on the protection of children and their legal rights. Besides, the participants were made aware about various welfare schemes pertaining to senior citizens.

The BMO threw light on the social, physical and mental affects of child marriage. She also stressed upon the need for effective safeguard of the rights which are vital to a human life.

She also educated them about their legal rights and other welfare schemes launched by the Government.
