“My First Vote – For the Nation,” Voter’s Awareness Rally held at AMU

 

Aligarh : A Voter’s Awareness Rally was held on Monday, March 4, around 3 pm, at Aligarh Muslim University, starting from Bab e Syed Gate to Centenary Gate of the University Campus. The rally aimed to sensitize students about the importance of first-time voting in the upcoming general elections, under the theme “My First Vote – For the Nation,” in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s guidelines, Government of India. Mr. Mohammad Imran, (IPS), Registrar of AMU, inaugurated the rally at Bab e Syed Gate.

Dr. Arshad Husain, Programme Coordinator of NSS, AMU, alongside hundreds of student volunteers and office staff of NSS, actively participated in the event. The turnout demonstrated significant support and enthusiasm, marking the rally as a resounding success in fostering voter awareness among the student community at Aligarh Muslim University.
