On the afternoon of April 29, Jia Ning, Secretary of the Party Committee of Northwest Normal University, and his delegation came to our school for investigation and exchanges to discuss the relevant work of the “Nanjing University “Enterprise Action” Implementation Plan.” Yang Zhong, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing University, attended the symposium.
On behalf of the school, Yang Zhong welcomed the arrival of Jia Ning and his delegation, and expressed his respect for Northwest Normal University’s long-term contribution to the northwest. He introduced the background, promotion process, specific content and overall situation of the Implementation Plan. In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s earnest instructions and important replies to build a world-class NTU with Chinese characteristics, the school launched the first three-month “Comprehensive Implementation of the Spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to Accelerate Construction” NTU’s “Implementation Plan” was developed through repeated polishing and extensive solicitation of opinions. During the implementation process, it was dynamically updated, timely revised, supplemented and improved, and continuously deepened, refined and optimized. Since the launch of “Operation Endeavor” more than a year ago, various tasks have been systematically promoted and good results have been achieved in talent training, scientific research, team building, campus construction, etc., and have been approved by the central leadership, the Ministry of Education, and the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee’s main leaders. .

Jia Ning expressed his gratitude to Nanjing University for its warm reception and selfless explanation of the “Implementation Plan”. He said that the “Implementation Plan” carefully describes the development blueprint for Nanjing University and has important reference significance for Northwest Normal University. This visit hopes that through learning and understanding of the advanced experience and excellent cases of the “Implementation Plan”, we can identify the starting points suitable for school reform and development, implement the “double first-class” breakthrough tasks deployed by the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, and effectively complete the “Double First-Class” breakthrough mission by 2025. , the school has entered the ranks of the national “double first-class” university construction, and the two disciplines of education and bamboo slips are at the forefront of similar universities in the country.
