New Books added to the Storefront of Publications Division, AMU at Amazon

Aligarh : The Publications Division of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has added 8 new books to its storefront at Amazon.in.
Prof Ali Mohammad Naqvi, Director, Publications Division elaborated, “our target is to continuously update the storefront at Amazon by adding new books and special issues of peer-reviewed journals of various genres from time to time so that bibliophiles can have a wider choice”.

“These books among others are “All About The JNMC, AMU, Aligarh” by Dr. Shariq Aqil, “Sir Syed Ahmad Khan Aur 1857” by Dr. Rahat Abrar, and Special Shamsur Rahman Faruqi Number of the Journal of the Faculty of Arts, edited by Prof. Mohammad Asim, which were recently released by Prof. Tariq Mansoor, Vice-Chancellor, AMU”, pointed out Prof. Naqvi.

Dr. Mohammad Shahid, Deputy Director, Publications Division said, “The other books added include Selected Lectures of Sir Syed Ahmad, Vol. I, translated into English by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Selected Essays of Sir Syed Ahmad, Vol. I, translated into English by M. Hameedullah, Crisis in Contemporary Islamic Thought, by Dr. Obaidullah Fahad, Urdu-Hindi Dictionary by Prof Ziaur Rehman Siddiqui, and Muntakhab-ut-Tawarikh of Mulla Abdul Qadir Badauni, Vol. I, II, & III, edited by Maulvi Ahmad Ali, with a biographical note on the author Mulla Abdul Qadir Badauni by noted historian Prof. Irfan Habib”.
