New Investment will bring change in Madhya Pradesh : CM Kamal Nath

Bhopal : The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath said that the new investment will bring change in the state. We will provide new job opportunities of their choice to youth. He said that adulteration is deceit with the people of the state. The government is committed to make Madhya Pradesh a healthy state. Shri Kamal Nath was addressing the public gathering after dedicating the newly constructed 350 bed District Hospital building constructed at a cost of Rs. 144 crore in Vidisha today.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced that the hospital will be upgraded to 500 bed hospital. The hospital will be named after Late Shri Madhavrao Scindia. He also dedicated construction works worth Rs. 23 crore in Vidisha district on this occasion.

The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath said that in the last 11 months we have created an atmosphere of faith in the entire state with our clear intentions and policies. Remarkable decisions have also been taken to free Madhya Pradesh from the state of backwardness, inherited by us. He further stated that the government is working with full commitment to eradicate unemployment along with better arrangements for education and health. Shri Kamal Nath mentioned that efforts made in the short time have enhanced the interest of industries in the state and they have come forward for the investment. He said that we aim to provide employment to youth of their choice, who wish to move ahead with respect and dignity. Shri Kamal Nath informed that a planned policy is being prepared to give quality education to the children.

Describing farmers as the foundation of the economy, the Chief Minister said that we will make farmers prosperous and happy not by waiving off the loans but by making the agriculture a profitable occupation. He informed that the loan of 86 thousand farmers have been waived off in Vidisha district. The process of waiving off the loans of the remaining farmers is underway.

The Chief Minister stated that our farmers have lost crops and the heavy damage has been caused to the infrastructure due to the excessive rainfall in the past. In the case of relief and help, the behavior of the Union Government is discriminatory with the people of the state. Even after the survey of the Central Study Group, no assistance has been received by the State so far. He said that despite this, the state Government has started providing relief to the farmers.

The newly constructed building of 350 bed hospital dedicated by the Chief Minister will provide better health services to 16 lakh people of Vidisha district and also to the people of adjoining districts. People will get most modern health services in the hospital.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister dedicated the construction works of Medical, Scheduled Caste, School Education, Energy and Higher Education Departments. He also distributed residential lease-deeds under the Mukhya Mantri Awas Yojana.

The Minister for Public Helath and Family Welfare Shri Tulsiram Silawat said that the Chief Minister has increased the budget by 30 percent to provide better health facilities to the people. So far, 1800 new doctors have been posted and 4000 vacant post have been filled. The Minister for Medical Education Dr. Vijayalaxmi Sadho said that 10 new medical colleges will be opened in the state. Four fold increase will be made in the seats of medical colleges. The Minister for New and Renewable Energy Shri Harsh Yadav mentioned that the Chief Minister has fulfilled his promise by giving 27 percent reservation to backward class and 10 percent to general category.
