NIRAMAI organises webinar on breast health in collaboration with ROCHE

NIRAMAI, in association with ROCHE, has organised a webinar on the topic ‘Detected with Breast Cancer – What Next?’. The purpose of this webinar is to raise awareness and guidance on the options available and the next steps to be taken, post-detection of breast cancer.

The session will include relevant information regarding the importance of timely treatment and ways to improve breast cancer patients’ quality of life by avoiding unnecessary over-treatment. The expert panel will consist of two well-known oncologists from Apollo Hospitals – Dr. CN Patil & Dr. Vaishnavi S, who will explain the risk factors, signs and symptoms and how early detection can reduce the treatment burden for patients.

Dr. CN Patil is currently the Head of Medical Oncology at Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. A gold medalist with 13 years of experience in Medical Oncology, he has many international publications to his credit. Dr. Patil is also an expert in Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation and has a successful history of handling complex cases of Breast and Ovarian Cancers.

Dr Vaishnavi S is amongst the top Medical Oncologists in Bangalore and is associated with Apollo Hospitals. With over 6 years of experience, Dr. Vaishnavi S specialises in the management of Breast Cancer t, Chemotherapy of Solid Tumors, Head and Neck Tumors, and Haematological malignancies. Beyond affiliation with many hospitals, Dr. Vaishnavi S has been an active member of the Karnataka Medical Council.

The participants are encouraged to share their questions and concerns during the webinar. These will be answered by the experts in an interactive session towards the end of the webinar.
