“Non-melting ski track”

A solemn ceremony of awarding letters of gratitude from the Head of the Republic of Karelia and the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Republic of Karelia to the organizers and participants of the Ski Tourism Festival “Non-woven Ski Track” in the Republic of Karelia took place at the “Boiling Point”.
As part of the hike-race, 11 trained athletes covered distances from 250 km to 420 km. In March they started in Medvezhyegorsk region. The skiers shared their impressions of the multi-day trip, talked about the obstacles they faced, for example, the “surprises” of nature – severe frosts and stormy winds – became difficulties.

All participants of the ski trip were awarded with Letters of Gratitude from the Head of the Republic of Karelia, members of the escort group were also noted, who corrected the route in accordance with the ice and snow conditions.
