NSDC, IRMA collaborate to boost start-up growth in underserved communities

 

 

Both the organisations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to share networking and technical capabilities for joint research on various topics

 

Anand  : National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), a strategic implementation and knowledge partner for Skill India Mission, working under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, and Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) have partnered with an aim to create a conducive environment for accelerated growth of start-ups especially among the underserved communities of rural India through training in professional management skills.

 

The MoU was signed by Ved Mani Tiwari, Chief Operating Officer and Officiating CEO, NSDC and Dr. Umakant Dash, Director, IRMA in Anand, Gujarat.

 

The collaboration will also focus on knowledge sharing for technology trends, industry insights, and more, through joint programmes, events and thought leadership sessions, among others. Both NSDC and IRMA will share their networking and technical capabilities for conducting joint research on various topics during this collaboration.

 

Sharing his thoughts on the partnership, Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, COO and Officiating CEO, NSDC, said, “In accordance with the objective of making India the Skill Capital of the World, NSDC has partnered with IRMA, a leading educational and research institution, to enhance the capacities and skills among entrepreneurs enabling them to adapt to the rapidly changing competitive environment.
