On spot registration, license generation Mela organised by DFCO at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR : In pursuant to the Directions of Commissioner FDA J&K and under the guidance of District Administration Kishtwar, a registration and online license generation fair was today organised here at district headquarter.

Initiating the workshop, Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety DFCO District Kishtwar, Tariq Ahmad Butt led the team of Enforcement Officers comprising Rajni Devi FSO , Sajad Hussain FSO Dachhan & Prithpal Singh, FSO Padder provided services to keep the Food Business Operators (FBOs) of the District including those of Kishtwar, Dachan and Padder Blocks to whom message was already conveyed.

At the outset an announcement was made in the market to invite the FBOs to grab the opportunity for registration and get on the spot license.

The main highlight of the event was an awareness program in which maximum categories of FBOs participated & they were educated about the Food Safety Act & Eat Right initiatives.

Most important aspect was the practical implementation of Hygiene & RUCO.

During the mela, on the spot generated certificates were distributed amongst the stakeholders .

As per enforcement Officers, more than 40 certificates were generated for the FBOs of Block Kishtwar, besides 5 registrations were made for Dachan and 3 for padder.
