On the prospects for the development of Russian education

Vasily Katarov, PetrSU Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work, took part in the All-Russian online conference chaired by the head of the Sirius educational center, co-chairman of the ONF central headquarters Elena Shmeleva.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Sports of Russia, federal and regional executive authorities, the winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren for the 2020/2021 academic year.

The participants discussed the prospects for the development of Russian education, science and sports.

Vasily Kuzmich Katarov spoke about how specialists are being trained at Petrozavodsk State University, the results of the flagship university development program, as well as the further participation of the university in the Priority 2030 program and the importance of using various innovations in expanding the infrastructure of the university.
