Online Orientation Program held

Aligarh: An online orientation program was organized for the newly admitted batch of Industrial Chemistry (UG and PG) in the Department of Chemistry, recently

Prof Mohd Muneer (Chairman, Department of Chemistry) in his inaugural addresses inspired the students to stay focused and diligent about their studies and the transition to online learning.

In his welcome note Prof Anees Ahamad, Coordinator of the Industrial Chemistry enlightened students about the cultural and educational diversity of AMU and motivated the students to contribute to the rich traditions of the University..

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mohammad Zain Khan (Assistant Professor) and Faculty Advisor American Chemical Society, AMU motivated the students to pursue higher education in science stream and discussed the opportunities available for Industrial Chemistry students in indian and abroad. He also stressed upon the necessity of courses of applied nature.

Mr Abu Mustafa Khan (Academic Teacher) enlightened the students about academic and industry, and informed them about scholarships and internship opportunities available.

An introduction about the International Students Chapter American Chemical Society and its benefits at the Department of Chemistry was jointly given by Sheroz Rehman and Abu Bakar Khan (ISC, ACS Secretary). Vote of thanks was delivered by Ariba Shahab (ISC, ACS President).
